Quality Inspector

Position Title: Quality Inspector
• Location: Ferndown
• Salary: £12p/h
• Term: Permanent position
• Shift: Monday to Thursday (4 day working week)

Job Summary:
Actio Recruitment is assisting one of our leading electronics clients in Ferndown in their search for a highly skilled Quality Inspector. The ideal candidate will have a background in PCB board manufacturing and be well-versed in component recognition, making it a perfect role for future progression.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will:
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on electronic components and PCB assemblies.
• Generate AS9102 First Article Inspection reports (FAIRs).
• Create and manage Non-Conformance reports.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.

Skills:
• Background in the PCB board manufacturing industry.
• IPC 610 and 620 certifications (current or previously obtained).
• Experience generating AS9102 First Article Inspection reports.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Flexible and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
