Part time Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant

15 hours per week (negotiable and can be worked across 2 or 3 days)

Wimbledon, office-based role.

We are currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper/Finance Assistant to join our client's dynamic team. As the Bookkeeper/Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's financial systems. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong numerical skills, and a passion for accuracy, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

Process, control, and reconcile sales, purchase, and nominal ledgers.
Managing correspondence and liaising with clients regarding purchase of exhibition insurance, scanners and furniture.
Ensure Xero accounting records align with Sales CRM system and Fulfilment teams Budgets.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements, including cash and expenses processing.
Conduct credit control reviews to assist with collection of monies due to and payable by the business.
Generate Xero/Excel reports to support the management information process.
Assist with the preparation and filing of quarterly VAT returns via MTD.
Collaborate with Financial Director on preparation of annual statutory accounts.
Always ensure compliance with all financial regulations.Skills and Qualifications:

Advanced Excel skills would be beneficial.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organisation.
Ability to work quickly, accurately, and meet deadlines.
Thorough understanding of management information systems.
