Our client, a leading engineering & construction contractor with a reputation for delivering world-class projects across a diverse range of industries, is urgently looking for an experienced Senior M&E Planner. With extensive experience in M&E project planning within large-scale projects, the Senior M&E Planner is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for M&E works across multiple projects ensuring that all M&E activities are fully coordinated, resourced, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

*

Develop comprehensive project schedules for mechanical and electrical works, detailing all key activities, milestones, and critical paths ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and objectives.

*

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure M&E schedules are accurate, realistic, and achievable.

*

Continuously monitor the progress of M&E works against the project schedule, updating the schedule regularly to reflect actual progress, identify issues, and propose effective solutions to keep the project on track.

*

Perform detailed critical path analysis to identify risks that could affect the project’s overall timeline and advise project management on potential delays.

*

Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting any schedule issues and ensure that all parties are informed of schedule updates, changes, and potential impacts on project delivery.

*

Oversee that M&E works are fully integrated with other trades and disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure seamless project execution.

*

Utilise planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other relevant tools to create, update, and track project schedules.

*

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/ Project Management or related field.

*

5+ years of experience in M&E Project Planning.

*

Strong understanding of M&E systems and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.

*

Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta Powerproject.

*

Strong analytical abilities, with a focus on critical path analysis, schedule optimization, and resource management.

*

Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.

*

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
