Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Westminster Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Homeless Prevention Coordinator this role will be Hybrid SW1E6QP

The right candidate will:

* Provide support within the Housing Solutions Service to assist families and individuals in moving from nightly booked TA to suitable, long-term accommodation.

* Conduct client visits to assess current situations and collaboratively develop relocation plans.

* Demonstrate exceptional customer care through compassionate and empathetic interactions with clients.

* Offer advice and assistance on homelessness prevention and facilitate access to professional and medical support as needed

* Housing Act 1996, Part VII: Housing duty investigations, decisions, and duties owed to applicants.

* TA suitability and S202 reviews.

We require the following:

* Ideally, we are looking for someone with management/senior experience.

* Demonstrated experience managing a team and/or function including the management of professional staff.

* Proficient in homelessness law and provision, with experience in similar roles.
