Pipefitter required for a busy fabrication shop in Moray. Previous experience in a fabrication shop is essential. This will be ongoing work.

Monday - Friday (39 basic with 12 overtime hours)

Accommodation allowance will be paid for 4 nights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in all relevant company safety procedures and pre job planning, including tool box talks and risk assessments.
Laying/Marking out, cutting, forming and joining metal pipe.
Aligning and fixing pieces together through welding, bolting, threading and bending.
Produce tack welds on various items using a variety of processes, manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, brazing etc.
Fulfil all company and/or client procedures and understand their individual responsibility with regard to overall QHSE performance.
Maintaining quality of work and ensuring compliance with job specific procedures and qualifications.
Must be flexible, able to adapt to different situations which may require working overtime hours.
Site work may also be required, working to client’s safety procedures and quality systems.
Working under limited supervision using standardised practices and/or methods.
REQUIREMENTS

Operating equipment used in pipefitting / fabricating and may also require the operating of associated workshop machinery, tools, welding and tacking up assemblies.
Knowledge required of methods, techniques, materials, tools used in metal fabrication, welding, maintenance, repair, safety practices and procedures
