Job Opportunity: Multi-Skilled Engineer - Cambridgeshire

Salary: £44,000 per annum
Location: PE29, Cambridgeshire (Commutable from Huntingdon, St Neots, Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough, Bedford, and Kettering)

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Join a larger food company in Cambridgeshire and become an essential team member in our engineering department. We are seeking a skilled individual to support and enhance our production operations.

Key Details:

- Salary: £44,000 per annum
- Working Hours: Double days shift (6-2/2-10 Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and foster a safe working environment.

Ideal Candidate:

- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in Engineering).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable to work the double days shift pattern.
