About the Role:
Remedy is seeking a passionate and experienced Maths Lecturer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, with a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lectures, seminars, and tutorials in mathematics to a diverse group of students.
- Develop and update curriculum materials, ensuring they meet academic standards and address the needs of students.
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress, maintaining accurate records of their achievements.
- Support students in their academic and personal development, offering guidance and mentorship where needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the maths department through participation in meetings, curriculum development, and quality assurance activities.
- Stay updated with developments in the field of mathematics and integrate new knowledge into teaching practices.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field; a postgraduate qualification and/or teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) is preferred.
- Experience teaching mathematics at the college or university level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to student success and an inclusive approach to education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental initiatives.
