The role is to support & cover an existing team member in developing their payroll processing capability.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain employee records and ensure all necessary information is up to date, including personal details, payroll deductions, and benefits.

* Respond promptly and accurately to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.

* Assist in the administration of HR processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.

* Prepare and distribute employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documents.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.

* Stay up to date with changes in payroll regulations and HR policies to ensure compliance.

* Potentially required, if experienced to process and manage end-to-end payroll activities, including data entry, payroll calculations, and verifying accuracy of payroll reports. (Ideal but not essential)

Requirements:

* experience in payroll administration and HR processes or a graduate of HR and or business degree.

* Strong numerical and data entry skills with great attention to detail.

* Familiarity with payroll software (SAP) and HR information systems (Success Factors).

* Excellent knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and employment standards, (desirable but not essential).

* Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.

* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with employees at all levels.

* Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet payroll deadlines.

* Proficiency in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

* A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently take initiative, and work effective as part of a team.

Additional Information:

* This is a 6-month fixed term position covering a secondment and may have the potential for extension based on business needs.

* The role will require strong collaboration with the existing payroll and HR teams.
