This is a long term freelance contract

The ideal candidate for this Site Engineer position will have a strong background in earthworks and muckshifts. They should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and possess excellent communication skills. As a self-motivated individual, the candidate will take ownership of their work, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. Experience with robotic total stations and a commitment to safety are essential.

Responsibilities:

Oversee muckshifts and earthworks on construction sites.
Ensure compliance with specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Set out foundations, drainage, and other sub-structures.
Monitor progress, report on-site activities, and address any issues promptly.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Engineer in earthworks projects.
Own kit (including a robotic total station) for levelling and surveying.
Private insurance coverage up to £2 million.
Strong knowledge of earthworks techniques and equipment
