Position: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £35-45,000

Location: Northampton

A leading Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Consultancy are searching for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their Northampton based team. Successfully trading across the UK for over 30 years, the consultancy specialises in cost-effective ground investigation, including regulatory monitoring and geoenvironmental audits. They are a valued employer, supporting staff through Chartership and encouraging a collaborative and friendly workforce.

The position of Senior Geotechnical Engineer offers:

Training towards Chartership under the BGS Accreditation Scheme and CPD SupportAs a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will project manage a variety of ground investigation projects from small scale builds, to complex developments. Your roles will include field work and supervision of site contractors, writing the associated reports, and providing cost effective solutions. You will be eager to join a Northampton based team.

This Senior Geotechnical Engineer role requires 5 years' experience in ground investigation consultancy, rock logging, fieldworks and sitework supervision, providing recommendations covering foundation design, ground improvements, earthworks, basements, retaining wall, mining, dissolution, and slope stability assessments.
