The Estimator supports the provision of accurate and timely quotations as a critical part of the sales journey. Working with Project and Client Relations teams, this role will maintain excellent technical knowledge, a consultative approach to internal and external communications, and meticulous organisation and attention to detail. 

Key Duties  

Driving the ‘Estimating’ stage of the Sales Pipeline. 
Assisting with the delivery of sales targets and ensuring the best possible service to customers. 
Assessing quote requests and making appropriate commercial recommendations as necessary. 
Liaising with other departments as appropriate. 
Dealing with ad-hoc customer sales queries and orders. 
Maintain quote list/incoming enquiries from project consultants. 
Creating revised quotes as required and then issuing them to customers as appropriate. 
Raising market awareness of the company’s products and services. 

Skillsand Knowledge

Excellent communication and customer service skills 
Highly IT literate, including Excel.  
Analytical and problem-solving skills. 
A solution led mindset. 
Organised and able to work under own initiative. 
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential, with the ability to multitask.  
Previous experience of estimating within the joinery/construction sector would be a distinct advantage. 

Salary Package

Salary c£30,000 per annum
