About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis. This role is available due to the retirement of a beloved colleague, making it an excellent opportunity to bring fresh energy and ideas into our school. This position stands out for its potential to make a significant impact on our young learners’ educational journey. You will be responsible for teaching a vibrant KS1 class with approximately 30 students, all of whom are eager and enthusiastic about learning. As a full-time member of our team, you’ll be instrumental in shaping a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to differentiation and SEN support, ensuring every child’s needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and assessment strategies.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate educational activities and events.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
