Meridian Business Support are currently working with a leading Social Housing provider in the Midlands who are looking to recruit a Surveyor who has experience of Surveying Damp & Mould in domestic and commercial properties. 

Job Description

Conduct detailed surveys and inspections of both domestic and commercial properties across the region to diagnose and assess, damp, mould and condensation issues.
Generate reports on findings including recommendations and specifications for remedial works that will address the identified defects.
Consult with contractors and internal teams to identify, instruct and manage works, ensuring works are completed in a timely manner as well as meeting the diverse customers' needs in the preparation and delivery of works.
Manage and monitor contractors input in repairing and completing works. This includes conducting post inspection of completed works to ensure the work is completed to a high standard.
Provide expert technical support, advice and guidance on damp and mould management to colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

Construction background with a minimum of an HNC in a property/ construction related discipline.
Proven experience in surveying Damp and Mould in both commercial and domestic dwellings
