We are recruiting for an experienced and customer facing Mechanical Engineer to work at a large site in City of London.

This role as a Mechanical engineer will require you to have experience of HVAC systems and also broad experience of working for FM companies. This will include working independently, responsible for initiating and completing tasks and procedures. The ability to gain, and where relevant apply a range of knowledge, skills and understanding. They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who can perform planned and reactive maintenance duties.

As a Mechanical Engineer your duties will include:

* To deliver Planned and Reactive Mechanical and/or Mechanical services to the site.

* To coordinate all resources and stakeholders to deliver a high level of service to clients with maximum efficiency and in a safe, sustainable and collaborative manner.

* To undertake any reasonable duties to maintain all services

* To carry out all works in compliance

* 5 years building service experience

* Self - Motivated

* Health & Safety awareness

* Fault finding

Mechanical Engineer Job Details:

* Continental Shift (Days & Nights)

* Training provided to further their career.

* Performs scheduled inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, adjustments, testing, and troubleshooting of assigned mechanical equipment in accordance with plumbing codes, diagrams, operation manuals and manufacturer's maintenance instructions

* Deliver a quality service through your day-to-day actions

* The Shift engineer will Daily, weekly, and periodic tasks are carried out as requested

* Demonstrate full working knowledge of all relevant equipment and materials

* Highlight any facilities-related issues to line management and/or service desk, ensuring the customer’s work environment and experience is always at the forefront of our daily activity

* To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met

* Issue of Permits to Work

* Shift Engineer will Completes maintenance and repair records as required.

* Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks
