Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Tanker Supervisor to oversee our tanker operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing tanker fleets, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage daily operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the tanker fleet, ensuring efficient and timely service delivery.

* Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.

* Ensure all tanker operations comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

* Monitor and manage the performance of tanker drivers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

* Conduct regular inspections of tankers and equipment to ensure they are maintained to the highest standards.

* Manage scheduling and dispatching of tanker services to meet customer demands.

* Liaise with clients to understand their needs, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

* Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance.

* Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

* Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure the availability of necessary materials and services.

* Investigate and resolve any operational issues or incidents, implementing corrective actions as required.

Qualifications and Experience

* Relevant qualifications in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in tanker operations or a similar role.

* Strong knowledge of tanker operations, maintenance, and safety regulations.

* Proven experience in supervising and managing a team.

* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in using fleet management and operational software.

* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
