Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for my client based in Blackburn on a permanent basis.

The role will involve the following:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance

* Analise and resolve issues

* Conduct repairs

* Perform general maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities

* Have good interpersonal skills

* Adhere to health and safety requirements and be conversant with HACCP and BRC.

* Ensure all equipment and machinery is in optimal condition

* Set up machinery as required at production changeovers

Familiarity with some of the following types of machinery would be beneficial:

* Multihead weighing machines

* Bagging machines

* Linear weighers

* Cartoning Machines

* Flow wrap machines

* Shrink wrap machines

* Coding equipment

* Inspection equipment (Check weighers & Metal detectors)

Hours are Monday - Friday 07:15 - 16:30 - no shift patterns just days.

Salary is £37,000 per annum.
