Are you ready to take the lead in providing exceptional care and education to young children? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become a Nursery Room Leader in a great setting close to Hither Green.

This nursery has beautiful rooms and a large all seasons outdoor play area. They offer lots of extra-curricular activities, and there’s always something going on. It is close to the local train station and well served by local bus routes.

You will set the tone for the team within the room, and lead by example in everything you do. As Nursery Room Leader, you’ll help your team achieve their potential in their roles as they help every child achieve theirs. You will be team player with a passion for coaching and mentoring, who can ensure that each child is nurtured by igniting their imaginations, encouraging them to think creatively, and making the most of their time in nursery.

This is a full-time position. In return, you can expect an attractive salary, outstanding training including an ongoing personal development plan, pension, events and socials and free DBS check.

Responsibilities:

The Nursery Room Leader leads by example in maintaining the highest standards of care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements
Plan, organize, and supervise a variety of stimulating activities to support children's learning and development
Foster an inclusive environment where equality of access and opportunity is provided to all children, parents, staff, and visitors
Cultivate professional relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers, promoting open communication and collaboration
Uphold policies and procedures, ensuring the nursery environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learningKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Possess a minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
Demonstrated experience working within a childcare setting
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with adults and children
Strong planning and organizational abilities to effectively manage daily activities and routines
