Role Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Site Engineer to bring their expertise to our fast-paced projects. You'll be integral in ensuring the accuracy of site operations, leading on setting out tasks, and monitoring junior team members. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a challenging environment that will push your skills to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
·Perform precise setting out tasks, with a focus on accuracy in levelling and traversing.
·Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to oversee daily site operations, including surveying and progress reporting.
·Verify and interpret plans, drawings, and setting out coordination to ensure seamless execution.
·Utilize advanced survey methods and devices, such as GNSS and data collectors, to drive efficiency on-site.
·Process field data using post-processing software, including AutoCAD, to produce reliable deliverables.
·Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
What We're Looking For:
·Demonstrated expertise in setting out, with a proven track record in levelling and traversing.
·Proficiency in using modern survey equipment, including GNSS and data collectors.
·Previous experience in the waste water/water sector, with a deep understanding of industry practices.
·Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and manage junior staff.
·A full, clean driving licence.
·Access to relevant equipment (TS16, GPS, etc., or equivalent).
