Logistics Coordinator

A Logistics Administrator is required to join a successful Steel manufacturing company based in Wednesbury on a temp-to-perm basis. An opportunity to join a busy Logistics team, monitoring customer order books, monitoring stock and ensuring orders are dispatched and received on time.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will -
Control stocks and administer deliveries with internal and external warehouses
Jointly manage all key accounts, responding to all queries
Ensure customer orders are dispatched and delivered on time, communicating with internal production teams, hauliers and ports
Updating all transport logs, port and logistics records
Stock management - schedule and progress stock to maximise inventory flaws and identify any significant changes or issuesIdeally you will have experience & skills of -
Excellent IT skills - confident picking up new systems and strong Excel abilities
Strong communicator
Previous work as Logistics Administrator or Coordinator, Transport Coordinator etc
Ability to analyse data and trends
Accuracy, attention to detail and strong organisational skills On offer for this Logistics Administrator role -
A temp-to-perm role, with long term prospects and opportunities to develop
Monday - Friday office-based hours 37.5 p/week
