Are you a passionate and experienced Design & Technology (DT) teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a qualified DT Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) to join our vibrant secondary school in Derby.

Role: Design & Technology Teacher
Location: Derby
Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Design & Technology to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Develop and deliver engaging and innovative lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements.
Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on student work, ensuring continuous progress.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and resources.
Support the school in extracurricular activities related to Design & Technology.
Requirements:

Must hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Proven experience in teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
