Caritas Futures are supporting a well-known national Children and young people Charity with Parent worker role based in Halton.

As a Parent worker you will be working with "Missing Team" wherein you will be supporting parent of children and young people who are at risk of/have been missing from home and help them to identify key indicators of exploitation or abuse

Experience:

Must have experience of working with Parenting, families, children, and young people
Experience of supporting families who are dealing with complex and sensitive issues through offering advice and advocacy
Relationship building skills.
Negotiation and influencing skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to plan and manage own workloadDue to the nature of the work the following are essential:

DBS on update service or one will be conducted on your behalf
On site working to best support clients
