TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU NEED TO HAVE A VALID 7.5 T LICENSE, CPC AND TACHO CARD
Pay Rate: £13.71 to £16.36
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Shift patterns: 5 out of 7 (so you will be working some weekends)
Time: 8:45am – 18:30pm
Location: Copthorne, Crawley, RH10,
Our client is an award winning leading supply chain business and they are seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
You will be delivering household white goods, bedframes, sofas etc... So, anything that you can’t collect from store.
This is a two-man job so you will be with a Drivers Mate or another driver. • Wets installations will be required (training provided)
MANUAL HANDLING WILL BE REQUIRED • As this role is Home Delivery you will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check
Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
Always comply with our health and safety standards, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
Hold a valid HGV 7.5 Tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph CardPassport / ID Card
Last 5 years History
Proof of National Insurance
Proof of Address
Will to undergo a UK Criminal Check.
You will need to successfully pass a driving assessment.
