Position: Lead Shift Engineer

Location: Northampton

Shift Pattern: Continental Shift

Salary: £43,000 per annum

* Shift Allowance: £3,500 per annum

* Total Compensation: £46,500 per annum

* Additional Pay: Valid LV Certification - extra £1,000, Valid HV Certification - extra £3,000

Job Description:

* We are looking for a Lead Shift Engineer with a strong background in electrical maintenance, specifically in high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems. The role involves both reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPMs), with a significant focus on LV work.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage shift operations to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

* Perform reactive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues promptly.

* Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPMs) to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical systems.

* Oversee a variety of LV maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with safety standards.

* Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on shift performance.

* Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team.

* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience in electrical maintenance, with significant expertise in HV and LV systems.

* Relevant electrical qualifications.

* Valid LV certification (additional £1,000).

* Valid HV certification (additional £3,000).

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and lead a team.

* Experience with reactive maintenance and PPMs.
