Completing Collections and Deliveries

* Delivering a range of goods, using a sack-barrow to assist where required.

* Your shift will start at the depot where you’ll assist with loading parcels. We’ll give you a delivery and collection schedule for the day which will be in the region of 20 - 50 stops around the area depending on load.

* A Sack Barrow/Hand Truck is provided for heavier items.

* Providing excellent Customer Service – being friendly when delivering, calling ahead to customers etc.

Requirements for the role:

* C1 driving licence entitlement (7.5t)

* Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card

* 12 months experience in this or a similar role

* No more than 6 penalty points (No DD/IN driving offences)

* Physically fit – Lifting aids will be provided along with manual handling training, however the role will require you to lift goods.

* Friendly, polite nature – you will be the face of the business

Shift Times & Pay Rates:

* 8am start time

* Monday-Friday

* 40 hours a week

* Shift length will vary as the position is “Job & Knock” – Meaning that you finish whenever the deliveries are completed

* Average shift length will be around 8-10 hours
