Hours of Work: 38.75 hours per week

7.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday (45 minutes unpaid breaks)

7.00am to 1.00pm Friday (15 minutes unpaid break)

Place of Work: Liss, GU33 7NX, West Sussex

Business Summary

Our client is an automotive specialist servicing all aspects of classic car restoration. In operation for over 20 years, and at thier Liss site since 2011, the business trades on three key strengths:

1. Parts manufacture and supply (boasting the world’s largest stock holding of WO Bentley parts)

2. Workshop specialising in servicing, restoring and rally preparation

3. Vehicle sales and sourcing

Role Summary

* Working within a small team with a diverse skill set, undertaking general servicing, repairs, event and race preparation, and full restoration and rebuilds on vintage Bentleys.

* Understand, report, and rectify vehicle issues/faults without the use of diagnostic plugins.

Key Responsibilities

* Undertaking general servicing, repairs, event/race preparation, full restoration and rebuild of vintage Bentleys.

* Quality control, tidiness and attention to detail are an absolute necessity

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment and complete all necessary control records (timesheets, inspection records etc.)

* Ensure Health and Safety regulations are met, and safe working practices are adhered to

Experience and Required Skills

* High degree of accuracy combined with attention to detail and process adherence

* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills

* Ability to take initiative and ownership of issues, with a proactive can-do attitude

* A strong electrical bias.

* Sound mechanical diagnostic skills developed through manual experience

* Minimum 2-3 years’ experience within the classic or vintage car field or experience with retro/race vehicles. This is not a ‘fitters’ role where parts are simply replaced
