Resident Liaison Officer

My client is a national contractor that specialises in delivering retrofit refurbishment projects primarily within social housing. They are committed to delivering projects that improve the built environment and benefit the local community.
Due to long term projects in the area, we are looking to recruit an experienced Resident Liaison Officer from the local community. Ideally you will have experience in working as a RLO on a project with external refurbishment and cladding works.
Successful candidates must be personable, professional and able to communicate effectively at all levels. A good working knowledge of basic I.T. applications, especially Word and Outlook is also essential.
Essential for the role:
* Applicants must have proven experience working as a resident liaison officer for a recognised contractor on a social housing refurbishment scheme.
* Applicant must be proficient in the use of IT applications, such as Word and Outlook
Main Duties include:
* Act as first point of contact for residents
* Ensure residents are kept informed of the progress and inform them of changes via letters and visits.
* Help plan and deliver literature given to tenants.
* Manage residents’ expectations and concerns.
* Responsible for managing and resolving difficulties and complaints regarding the works by liaising with all parties involved.
* Ensure disruption to tenants kept to a minimum.
* Inform Management of any potential problems or risks
