We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Site Manager based in the North West to join an established Brickwork Contractor that is continuing to grow year on year consistently winning a number of new tenders.

Projects include a mixture of commercial and residential buildings and focus on what could be described as the ‘external envelope’. So, anything brickwork and masonry related.

The salary is negotiable and dependant on experience. The range for this position is in the region of £45-£50,000 but for the right candidate there is a certain level of flexibility above that to the region of £55,000. Alongside this you will also get a van that will allow you between sites.

Job Role:

* As a Site Manager ensure Health & Safety standards are being upheld at all times

* Liaise with external stakeholders, subcontractors and consultants.

* Lead weekly progress meetings and producing the required timeline of works / action points.

* Subcontractor management to ensure projects are delivered on time and compliant.

* Supervises and ensures that all construction work under their control is built in accordance with the programme of works.

* Ensures effective control of subcontractors in maintaining all necessary quality control checks to ensure the required standard by complying with the relevant specification and working practices.

* Prepares schedules of defects and ensures completion in accordance with programme.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Previous Site Manager experience

* A background in brickwork/masonry is essential for this role

* Strong time management skills to ensure you meet agreed deadlines

* SMSTS / First Aid / Black CSCS
