Glass Processor – Based near Stalham

£11.50 p/hr starting rate +15% shift allowance, equates to £13.23 p/hr.

The position is based on a 38 hour per week :

Two shift pattern Wk1 / Wk2

Early shift

06:00 until 14:00 (Monday to Friday)

Late shift

14:00 until 22:00 (Monday to Friday)

My client operates from a large manufacturing plant and prides themselves on being market leaders in their field. They are currently working alongside some of the industry’s most prestigious manufacturers, providing the finest products and solutions.

They have an opportunity for a number of Glass Processors to assist initially on an ongoing temporary basis but may lead to permanent, working on a 2 shift rotation Monday-Friday.

Transport is required due to the remote company location

The role involves machine and tool setting, running CNC machines (basic programming but this can be trained). The role also involves handling, grinding and washing glass along with general production duties and Quality Assurance.

Applicants should be physically fit as the position will involve lifting/handling. Individuals must be willing to learn and be capable of working both as part of a team and on their own.

Person Specification

Ideal candidates will have previous CNC operating experience or glass handling experience within a manufacturing industry
