About the role:

Working closely with the Group Operations Director and with the wider team you will bring your proven experience to improve and add value in all areas of the business. This is a varied and hands-on role from day-to-day accounting through to providing commercial expertise and advice to ensure the continued success and growth of the business.

This role is hybrid based however you will be in the office initially for 5 days a week while you embed into your new position. You will support the Group by providing reliable reporting information, financial forecasting and ensuring all financial metrics are well understood.

What we want from you:

We are looking for personable, hands on professional with a can-do attitude who has experience working in an autonomous environment. We are looking for a minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience and a strong grounding in accounting work and finance operations. Relevant sector experience is not required.

* Lead and mentor a small team of Finance staff to produce regular management information to aid key decision-making

* Contribute to the achievement of the company business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy

* Manage and comprehend the company’s key financial metrics

* Manage capital and prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and other financial reports

* Develop and control the annual operating budget to ensure all financial targets are met

* Overseeing the finance system and ensuring that adequate internal controls and checks are in place

* Assist with planning, budgeting and related analysis
