Job Description:

Nutrix Medical is looking for an experienced and dedicated Midwife to join our team in Northern Lincolnshire and Goole. This role is ideal for a passionate midwife who is committed to providing exceptional care to women and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period. The successful candidate will have extensive UK midwifery experience and no working restrictions.

Key Responsibilities:

Antenatal Care:

* Provide comprehensive antenatal care, including assessments, screenings, and health education to expectant mothers.

* Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals.

* Offer support and advice on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.

*

Intrapartum Care:

* Support women through labour and delivery, ensuring a safe and positive birth experience.

* Monitor fetal and maternal well-being, identifying and responding to any complications.

* Assist with pain management and support natural births, as well as interventions when necessary.

*

Postnatal Care:

* Provide postnatal care to mothers and newborns, including breastfeeding support and health checks.

* Monitor recovery and offer guidance on newborn care, addressing any concerns that arise.

* Conduct home visits and follow-up appointments as needed.

Team Collaboration:

* Work closely with obstetricians, paediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.

* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care protocols.

Patient Education and Support:

* Educate women and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care.

* Offer emotional support and address any psychological concerns related to childbirth and parenting.

Qualifications and Experience:

* NMC Registration: Must be a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

* Experience: Extensive experience in midwifery within the UK, with a strong understanding of local healthcare systems and practices.

* No Working Restrictions: Must have the right to work in the UK without restrictions.

* Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

* Compassion: A caring and empathetic approach to patient care, with a focus on supporting women and their families during one of the most significant times in their lives.
