As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

Work closely with young people exhibiting challenging behaviour, helping them overcome their difficulties.
Provide support and mentoring during difficult times for students.
Act as a positive role model by setting a good example.
Offer one-to-one support or small group support.
Lead or support intervention groups targeting students with challenging behaviours or SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) issues.
Maintain communication with class teachers and behavioural teaching team members about student progress.School Description 0- Behaviour mentor - Hackney

The PRU in Hackney provides services for children unable to attend mainstream schools due to various reasons, including behavioural issues, emotional difficulties, severe bullying, SEN (Special Educational Needs), or health problems. The PRU offers tailored support to help these students succeed in their education.
