Year 6 Behaviour Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

As Year 6 Behaviour Teaching Assistant in this outstanding school in Tower hamlets, you will:

Provide dedicated support in the mornings, focusing on assisting a Year 6 student with behavioral aspects,SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including ADHD diagnosis and potential self-harming behavior.
Offer crucial assistance in the afternoons, aiding Year 6 students and remaining flexible to work across Key Stages 1 and 2.
Implement strategies and interventions to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment to promote the student's social and emotional development.
Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to ensure individualized support plans are implemented successfully.
Monitor and record the student's progress, adapting support strategies as necessary.
