Masterclass Education are working with an amazing SEN college who are currently recruiting for a SEND teacher to join their team for the new academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners with additional needs and contribute to their academic success and personal growth.

The College is across 2 sites (Shoreham and Worthing) with easy access to both via public transport. They are a small college but are rapidly growing. They are committed to fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth. As they continue to expand their academic offerings, they are seeking passionate and qualified individual to join their team of dedicated educators.

Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.

· Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.

· Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a positive learning environment and address behavioural challenges.

· Assess student progress using a variety of methods, provide timely feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

· Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and enrichment activities.

· Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns or questions.

· Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of educational trends and best practices.

The ideal candidate:

· Holds QTS

· Are positive, inspiring, and upbeat

· Are drivers or very good with public transport

· Have experience supporting students with additional needs
