We’re looking for an ambitious, driven, senior sales professional or existing department head, with a strong background in the cruise industry to take ownership and spearhead the growth and development of our clients’ cruise department.

This is a multi-functional, diverse position working within a small and growing team based in Greater London, office based or hybrid.

A hands-on role, you’ll be leading by example and assisting with reservations when necessary, so it’s essential you have a background in cruise sales in a senior or managerial position.

Role of Head of Cruise Operations:

* Drive revenue growth through effective account management, development of key partners, and seeking out new partners to expand the customer base.

* Oversee, manage lead, and motivate the sales team, ensuring daily performance targets are achieved including some personal sales.

* Stay up to date with products and competitors, collect customer feedback, and conduct market research to delivery competitive marketing campaigns and feedback to product department

* Reporting to senior management to manage and deliver the product KPIs.

* Review and analyse data, performance, and processes to ensure margin and efficiency improvements across all suppliers, thereby increasing profitability and productivity.

* Conduct virtual and in-person meetings with suppliers to negotiate commercial agreements and represent the company at industry events and conferences.

* Ensure that daily operations within the department are streamlined and consistently delivered

Skills required for the role:

* Strong knowledge of the cruise market

* Cruise sales experience

* Management experience

* Hand on approach to workload and working hours

* Inspirational, dynamic and ambitious

* Highly sales driven

* Data analysis skills
