An established Housing Developer are looking for a freelance Assistant Site Manager for 4 weeks minimum in Telford. The project consists of traditional new build houses for open market sale. If you are an experienced House Building Assistant Site Manager who is looking to go onto a permanent contract, this could be an opportunity for you to go temp to perm as the business are also recruiting for direct staff.

Job Duties:

Assist the Site Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations on the construction site
Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and tradespeople on site
Monitor progress and quality of work to meet project deadlines
Report back to the Site Manager on project status and any issues that arise

Required Qualifications:

Valid SSSTS certification
CSCS card
First Aid certification
Full UK Driving Licence

Experience:

Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager in the house building sector

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
