The Senior Quality Technician is a brand new vacancy and even better, it is as a result of expansion - so you will not be filling anyone's shoes - the Senior Quality Technician is a role you can make your own 

Our client belong to one of the largest and most prolific electrical engineering businesses, their products are supplied into some of the most well-known and impressive industries; meaning that this is not an opportunity for you to pass up The role will see you supporting one of the most critical hours of operations for our client, therefore the hours for this vacancy are; 15:30 to 23:00

What will you be doing as their newly appointed Senior Quality Technician?

Take control of non-conforming component parts and materials 

Support the QE and QM with the reporting on incoming parts (PQR) 

Work collaboratively with the Production Teams on ensuring that processes are adhered to to alleviate quality control issues 

Where you spot issues, work alongside the Senior Quality and Production Teams on implementing improvement processes and ensure that they are feasible for Production to take on board 

Alongside your peers and QE's, review the Productions assembly processes and pitch in suggestions for where changes can be made

What do you need to demonstrate in order to apply?

Substantial experience of working in Quality Control within a Manufacturing environment 

Have supported CI projects 

Working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles 

Confident user of MS office programmes such as Excel, Outlook etc.
