SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting a special needs teacher for a wonderful special needs school in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The school is looking for a teacher of primary (year 3 and year 4) with severe learning disabilities.

About the school..

The school is split into a primary and secondary site for students with severe learning disabilities (SLD), profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). Some of the students may also have additional sensory or physical impairments or challenging behaviour.

All students have a personalised learning programme to help them achieve their best. This is used to adapt the curriculum to meet the individual needs of students.

The school is proud to foster a friendly, welcoming team environment in which all students and staff feel happy, safe and supported.

About you…

Must have experience as a special needs teacher
Must have QTS
Be interested in adapting to recent research and findings within the special needs space and be committed to best practice
Patient and understanding
A genuine commitment to supporting the educational, social and personal development of young people with special needs
