Our client is a longstanding distributor of palletised goods across the industry, and due to peaks in business, they are now looking for HGV Class 1 day drivers to carry out deliveries throughout the UK. With a modern fleet and the latest technology, this is a great opportunity.
Responsibilities: HGV Class 1 days
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles.
- Conduct thorough pre-run and post-run vehicle inspections.
- Adhere strictly to all relevant traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance activities.
Experience: HGV Class 1 days
- Minimum of 1 year HGV 1 Driving experience .
- No more than 6 points (2 x3) due to insurance requirements.
- Valid Digi Card / DCPC certification.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service required.
