A thriving and growing agricultural business is collaborating with Hays to source for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. They are based in South Herefordshire and boast an honest and sustainable approach to their business as a family-owned organisation; a super-supportive company who are willing to up-skill and offer study for the right candidate.
Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing supplier invoices, up to circa 500 per month.
Handling supplier queries.
Performing account reconciliation, journal posting, and reporting.
Supporting the accountant with ad-hoc tasks and month-end accounts preparation.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Strong PC skills, particularly in accounting software and Microsoft Office
The ability to multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proven, previous experience as a purchase ledger
