About the Teaching Assistant Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a thriving SEMH Secondary School in Bromley. Your role will be pivotal in supporting students with a range of emotional and behavioral needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.

* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies.

* Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

* Foster positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and participation.

* Support the development of social skills and emotional resilience in students.

* Monitor and report on student progress to ensure tailored support is provided.

SEMH Teaching Assistant - Requirements:

* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable.

* A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.
