Senior Radiographer Mammography - Prestigious Private Hospital Aberdeen- Part Time- Up to £43,000 F.T.E per year + Benefits

A leading independent healthcare provider, recognized for its nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, seeks a Senior Mammographer to join their Imaging department.

This is a part time role for 8 hours a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for one stop breast clinics open on alternating evenings: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Senior Radiographer - Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
Healthcare Professionals Council (HCPC) registration
Radiographic background / training
Familiarity with RIS / PACS
Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and the systems and processes used
Awareness of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability
Knowledge of Radiation Regulations
Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
Mammography Certificate

Senior Radiographer - Key Responsibilities:

Ensure efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department, providing high-quality service to patients and visitors.
Perform general and specialised radiographic procedures, maintaining high technical and quality standards.
Assess patients and determine appropriate radiographic techniques.
Conduct imaging exams using low radiation dose techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Follow radiation protection and safety guidelines, adhering to Local Rules and Systems of Work.
