We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our partner

You will be asked to work on and off the refuge loaders (Bin wagons) being responsible for working across various locations in the west end of Newcastle.

This is a vital role within our partners organisation, ensuring that you are competent is priority.

Duties:
- Safely operate refuge loaders, including bin wagons etc.
- Load and unload waste materials using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and ensure time is managed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Refuge driving experience preferred
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as well as walk several miles per day
