EYFS Primary Teacher (ECT)

Q - Are you an EYFS Primary Teacher (ECT) looking for a school who will provide you with the upmost support?

If so, EdEx are working with a fantastic primary school in the heart of Hounslow who are looking for an ambitious ECT to join their EYFS team as an EYFS Primary Teacher (ECT). This is a full-time, permanent contract commencing in September 2024.

This school have designed their own ECT programme which is built on ensuring your workload isn't overwhelming and that you are receiving outstanding levels of support. This will include additional time out of class to plan and mark and specific CPD on leadership after your ECT whilst ensuring you aren't being micromanaged.

The school routinely perform highly across reading, writing, and maths and are currently ranked within the top 10 primary schools in the borough. This is due to the SLT efforts to maintain high staff well-being which has had a knock on effect on the quality of education.

ECT Mentorship: EYFS Primary Teacher (ECT)

1:1 Mentorship with an experienced ECT mentor
10% more time out of class than normal ECT mentorships
Truly supportive, holistic school - you will be looked after
Support with behaviour management - Centralised Behaviour
The school will also provide more TAs to your class if there is prominent challenging behaviour or higher levels of SEN

Person Specification: EYFS Primary Teacher (ECT)

UK QTS - Unqualified Candidates will not be considered
Degree from a reputable university
Strong academic record is desirable

Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
