About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive school community starting in September. This role is a unique opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both in the classroom and during one-on-one sessions.
Assist the class teacher in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help students with their social and emotional development.
Support students with physical, emotional, and learning difficulties.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs are an advantage but not essential.
