Aspire in the Community is a well-established provider of services for adults who have Learning Disability, Autism, behaviours of concern and Mental Health Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* To work alongside our PBS lead to continuously develop, implement and maintain Positive Behaviour support plans and to provide the team with guidance and advice to implement such plans.

* Listen to service users (and appropriate others) to develop individualised plans that support the service user to participate in a range of meaningful leisure and educational activities, based on identified goals.

* Ensure that service users are supported to maintain their health in a proactive manner.

* Ensure that all support plans are developed, used effectively and reviewed regularly to meet agreed outcomes for service users.

* Ensure that all records are maintained accurately.

* Develop person centred working relationships with service users in a professional manner.

* Ensure that identified resources which may support the development and / or personal interests of the service user are obtained.

* Adhere to company and local authority safeguarding policies and procedures to protect vulnerable service users.

* Take part in service user reviews, both in person and in the development of written reports.

* Forward plan staff rotas to provide adequate and safe staffing levels

We need you to:

* Have previous been a registered manager in a social care setting

* Have experience in managing a team within a learning disability setting

* Hold NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or willing to work towards this award

* Hold a full UK driving licence (desirable)

* Have an understanding of Autism and Sensory Considerations

* Have excellent verbal and written skills

* Be fully conversant with all IT systems
