CNC Machinist – Days

Permanent

Stockport

Salary: £14 - £18p/h (up to £34,440 per annum) + Overtime (paid at 1.5 x)

Working hours: 8 hour shifts Between 7:30am – 5pm (Monday – Friday)

Main Responsibilities

Competent operation in programming and setting a variety of CNC lathe and mills, including 5-axis CNC machinery.
Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues
CMM quality reports (FAIR)
Liaise and collaborate with other departments and implement solutions
Provide ideas for process improvements
Experience and Skills required

Reading Engineering Drawings
Experienced working with 5-axis mill-turn machines and multi-channel
Experience with Siemens Sinumerik Preferred
A logical approach to problem-solving
Strong work ethic
Excellent communication with all levels of responsibility
Experience of working within quality standards such as ISO 9001
