Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Groundworker to perform a wide range of groundwork tasks for projects across the Highlands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundwork, be a team player, and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare construction sites by clearing obstacles, debris, and vegetation.
* Excavate, backfill, and compact soil and other materials.
* Install drainage systems, foundations, and underground utilities.
* Lay and maintain paving, kerbs, and concrete.
* Operate and maintain various construction equipment and machinery.
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
* Collaborate with the site manager and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Groundworker.
* Familiarity with construction tools, machinery, and materials.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Valid CSCS card or equivalent.
* Full UK driving license is preferred
