CK Group are currently recruiting for a Production Process Operator to join a chemicals manufacturing company at their site based in Greater Manchester, on a full time, permanent basis.
The Company:
This company specialises in polymer and resin manufacture and offers benefits such as healthcare, pension, 25 days' holiday and bonus.
Location:
This role is based at the company's site in Greater Manchester and is easily commutable from Manchester, Liverpool, Blackburn, Preston, Bolton, Wigan and Lancaster.
Role:
Your main duties will be:
Ensure that all process and operational activities associated with batch manufacture are carried out in compliance to the sites Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements
To manufacture products according to details and instructions stated on the formulation batch sheet and specification
To complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Immediately report any incident
Monitoring of raw materials requirements
Participate as required in design / Hazard reviews
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
Experience of working in a chemical / process type industry
Any experience working on a COMAH will be advantageous
Understanding of chemical processes
Ability to follow Manufacturing Instructions
Forklift Truck experience
