About the Role

Connex Education are working with a successful Primary Schools in Salford , we are seeking to appoint an inspiring PPA Cover Teacher, to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

The schools we work with are either one, two or three form entry schools located in the city of Salford. Each partner school believes in individuality in their children and strives to challenge each pupil to be the best they can be and also be good people alongside this.

Assignment Details

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will be a vital member of the school community, teaching across all year groups from Reception to Year 6, providing cover for teachers during their PPA time. The role will be on a supply basis and will start ASAP. Due to the nature of this role, the ability to be flexible and adaptable is essential. This would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to advance their career in supportive new settings, or for an ECT to develop alongside a successful and supportive team of staff.

Person Specification

Experience working with primary aged children
QTS in the UK
Positive approach to behaviour management and confidence building
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexible approach
Effective positive behaviour management skills
Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
