Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) Teacher to join our dedicated faculty in Ashford. As an MFL Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students and foster their interest in foreign languages and cultures. This role offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a significant impact on the academic and personal development of our students.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging and interactive MFL lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.

* Teach students to read, write, speak, and understand foreign languages, with a focus on French, Spanish, and/or German.

* Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes cultural understanding and appreciation.

* Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, projects, tests, and examinations.

* Provide constructive feedback to students to support their language development and proficiency.

* Identify and address individual learning needs, providing additional support or challenges as necessary.

* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.

* Organize and supervise language-related activities, such as language clubs, cultural events, or study trips.

* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding students' progress and achievements.

* Stay updated with the latest educational trends and advancements in the field of MFL teaching.

Requirements:

* PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

* Proven experience teaching MFL at the secondary school level.

* Fluency in one or more foreign languages, such as French, Spanish, or German.

* Strong knowledge of language acquisition principles and effective teaching methodologies.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Strong organizational and classroom management skills.

* Commitment to ongoing professional development.

* Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into language instruction.
